Renaissance Village Murrieta, like many other businesses, faced challenges when it came to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the team worked tirelessly to keep residents safe and continue to create days for them despite these circumstances. We are pleased to share that we are seeing the community’s census climb back to the numbers we saw before the pandemic and we’re excited to be welcoming families back to the community.
End to the State of Emergency
On October 17, 2022, California Governor Gavin Newsom announced that the COVID-19 State of Emergency would end on February 28, 2023. The ending of this State of Emergency will put into motion the phasing out of various strategies the state put in place to combat COVID-19. With the dramatic reduction in hospitalizations and deaths related to COVID-19, we look forward to seeing how this will push our industry forward in the coming months.
Welcoming Families Back
We are also pleased to share that Renaissance Villages welcomed residents’ families back into the Dining Room in time for the holidays. Our residents invited a limited number of family members to dine with them for our Thanksgiving and Holiday dinners. Seeing the joy on residents’ faces as they ate, drank, and were merry with their families in light of this holiday season was exciting. Our Prime Rib Holiday Dinner was a favorite amongst residents and their family members, who requested to thank the chef for such a fabulous meal!
