On-Site COVID-19 Vaccines Clinic
Renaissance Village Rancho Belago faced challenges over the last year due to the Coronavirus pandemic. However, Rancho Belago is excited to report that the community is continuing to open up group activities and live entertainment. At the beginning of 2021, Renaissance Village Rancho Belago partnered with CVS Pharmacy and made it possible for residents and staff to receive their COVID-19 vaccinations in an easy on-site process. About 85% of residents took advantage of this opportunity, which provided them with more protection and peace of mind against exposure to COVID-19.
Visitation Guidelines
With many Californians receiving vaccinations throughout the state, the state sees a continuous decline in the number of positive COVID-19 cases. In addition, the COVID-19 vaccine eligibility is continuing to open to various groups of people. On Thursday, March 25, California Governor Gavin Newsom announced that by April 1, vaccine eligibility would expand to Californians 50 and older. In addition, by April 15, eligibility will expand to everyone 16 and older.
The increase of vaccinated individuals also made it possible to change guidelines, which allowed the community to open its doors to residents’ family members and friends. Rancho Belago issued new policies to residents and family members for best practices when visiting indoors with residents. In addition, vaccinated residents and family members can also get those long-awaited hugs they have all missed. The community is also planning on celebrating the spring’s start by hosting an Outdoor Spring Social for residents at the beginning of April. There will be refreshments, and live entertainment.

Adjustments for Group Activities at Renaissance Village Murrieta
Just like its sister community, Renaissance Village Murrieta faced challenges as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic. The Murrieta location is also making adjustments to open up group activities and provide live entertainment.
Renaissance Village Murrieta also partnered with CVS Pharmacy to provide residents and staff with the ease of receiving the COVID-19 vaccine on-site. About 98% of residents took advantage of this opportunity. The Murrieta location also issued new policies to residents and family members for visiting indoors in the community.
In Partnership with ONR, Inc.
Orthopaedic & Neurological Rehabilitation, Inc. (ONR, Inc.) recently became a partner of Renaissance Village Murrieta. This leading contract rehabilitation team took up residence in the community’s 2,008 sq ft. rehab space to provide residents with options for a complete range of Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT), and Speech-Language Pathology services. This partnership provides residents with the opportunity to receive much-needed therapy services without needing to leave the community. Residents can meet with Trevor Stokes, Director of Rehabilitation, to discuss concerns and needs regarding OT, PT, and Speech Therapy. This proactive and preventative
medical approach provides residents with peace of mind and addresses their concerns. Furthermore, what makes this program more unique is the therapists’ ability to get to know residents and staff and provide them with an additional resource.
ONR, Inc. provides its TOUCH program at Renaissance Village Murrieta, which stands for Therapeutic Outcomes Using Caring Hands. The program helps promote independence by offering individualized care. In addition, the program also provides an enhanced quality of life, quick access to care, and greater satisfaction.
